Mar 22 - Mar 28: Concept artist research, Proposal Feedback and project development after Grad camp

Improving the Project after the Grad Camp  Mar 22 - Mar 28 By Christopher Sutton Technique and Concept artists After the work we did at the grad camp, there are a lots of holes in my project that have become somewhat obvious. The way I was designing concept pieces wasn't bad per say, but it wasn't up to a professional standard. There are also a lot of drawing/painting techniques to learn and incorporate into my style/work, but that will take time and practice. As a place to start, I have been looking at Artstation profiles of professional concept artist and art developers working in the industry. I started with Brain Matyas, which Paul suggested to us during the camp. While I am going over his work and trying to understand what he does and why, I have compiled a small list from those Matyas follows. Project introductions and considering the outcome - Setting up an IP for Concept art By Christopher Sutton Feb 25 to Mar 1 Pretext     Today was the start of the Masters course at Massey, already I have a lot to think about. While I have yet to share my ideas/IP with my peers Mona and Jack yet, our new tutors have already discussed and suggested several issues and ideas with us to get us thinking about our projects so we can sort out our trajectories in a timely fashion. This is to avoid us meandering and wasting time. The next few days are to prepare for the presentation due on Tuesday 2 March.. This will include additional investigation into useful resources online, revamping the PowerPoint I created over the 21-24 February and creating some test concept pieces using reference photos I have collected.  Questions/Issues for consideration (General) During the talk on 25 February, we discussed several issues and questions we would have to answer during the p...
